The poster session has been expanded to give projects more ways to showcase their activities: (1) poster(s) describing project work and graduate student STEM research, (2) a lesson to share, and/or 3) an example of how technology is used to support teaching and learning or to make project management more efficient and productive (e.g., online tracking/management of projects). Bringing Research to K-12 Classrooms: The Fellow, Teacher, PI Team
Fellow-Teacher-PI teams will describe how they collaborate to bring research into the K-12 classroom, emphasizing their role in the effort, the impact on the students, and the benefits and challenges. These discussions will provide an introduction to the small group sessions that follow.

Strategies for Integrating Research into the Classroom
Five breakouts will be organized around STEM disciplines and/or grade levels.
These sessions feature fellow-teacher pairs who will describe their strategies for integrating STEM research into K-12 schools. The discussions will have a practical focus, examining issues related to classroom management, student engagement, etc. (We invite you to apply to present a session or to nominate a fellow-teacher pair.)
